Alaska Travel|What are the arrangements for traveling from Taiwan?
Flight Suggestions
Alaska does not have many direct flights like the US mainland cities, but travelers don't have to worry. From Taiwan, you can choose direct flights to Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco and other cities on the west coast of the US and Canada, and it is recommended to allow at least three hours for connecting flights, and then transferring to domestic flights to Anchorage, where you will be picked up by a local tour guide.
From Taiwan Taoyuan Airport, there are direct flights to the west coast of North America on China Airlines, EVA Air, Star Alliance, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. Arriving in Alaska in the afternoon is the best time to get picked up and checked in to your hotel, and the waiting time is shorter, so get a good night's rest and start your trip the next day!

*Note: Flights vary by month, season, and operating conditions; this is a spring 2025 schedule.
Climate and Dressing
May to September in Alaska is summer, with a cool and pleasant climate, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 25°C (sometimes higher in recent years due to global warming). Due to the vastness of the hinterland and the big difference in temperature between day and night, travelers can make reference to the spring and fall in Taipei, Taiwan, and dress in a three-layer style (sweat-absorbent layer, warm layer, and waterproof and windproof layer). Prepare flat sneakers or hiking shoes that are suitable for hiking and easy to wear, and waterproof ones are even better. Also remember to prepare a hat and gloves to protect yourself from the wind and keep you warm in case of temperature changes. We will prepare the rest of the equipment for glacier hiking, so you don't need to worry about it!
Trip Extension
In addition to a few days in Alaska, since you've flown all the way there, travelers are advised to make extra arrangements for trips to Seattle, Vancouver, and San Francisco, where the U.S. has excellent air traffic and daily flights to major North American cities. If you choose to continue your exploration of Alaska, or travel to California on your own, Sky Horse offers additional car rental discounts, which can be booked directly withBook with us via LINEThe
